Brandy Old Fashioned - brandy instead of whisky omit fruit slices serve in a chilled glass.
(Originally known simply as a "whisky cocktail" as other cocktails made with whisky became popular, for clarity it became known as an "old fashioned whisky cocktail" finally, the "whisky cocktail" part was dropped.) Twist lemon peel over the top and serve garnished with the lemon peel and a maraschino cherry. Add two cubes of cracked, but not crushed, ice and top off with the rest of the whisky. Add about 1 ounce of whisky and stir again. Old Fashioned (basic recipe) - 12 parts whisky, 1 part simple syrup, 1-3 dashes Angostura bitters in an old-fashioned glass, add bitters to simple syrup and stir.Lemon drop Martini - 30 ml Vodka Citron, 20 ml Triple Sec ,15 ml Fresh Lemon Juice shaken cocktail glass with sugar rim.French Martini - 3 parts Vodka, 1 part Raspberry Liqueur, 1 part Fresh Pineapple Juice shaken strain into chilled cocktail glass garnish with lemon peel.Kina Lillet is no longer available, so Cocchi Americano can be substituted.
